DIY Inspiration : the tulle skirt, aka, the perfect skirt for the holidays

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Every holiday season there is the inevitable Christmas party or New years eve bash, and with that the quest for the perfect party outfit. I will be posting a few ideas and tutorials over the next few weeks to keep you covered on this subject exactly. First up! The Tulle skirt. I was first inspired from this anthropologie one, then when I did further research, these lovely pictures above.
Tulle skirts come in all different lengths, colors, and the greatest of all, poofinesses. To me this skirt screams, "partaaaaaaay", making this one of the best options for those holiday get togethers. You can easily dress it up with a fuzzy christmas sweater and some bling or dress it down with some chambray and sneakers. I love all the beautiful possibilities that can come from these sweet, yet flashy skirt! Tutorial coming this week!

  21. I love tulle skirts! I have one from Forever 21 (it was a steal, only $19.80!!) that I bought last year. I wear it with everything! I can't wear it with anything right now because I'm 9 months pregnant... But when the little one decides to arrive I'll wear it again. :)
